Hello, my fellow apparel people!
It is me, Boomer, your Cougar Bowl Apparel mascot and the “Dog with a Blog.” It has been about six months since my first post went viral, and summer is upon us. Jack is home from school and Ben is about to start his senior year. That being said, this tiny basement business has begun to grow. We now have two heat presses to keep me warm and a very loud needle machine. Thank goodness I am hard of hearing already because that machine makes it hard for Chad to hear anything, especially Liz screaming about dinner time.
This new embroidery machine has been very busy and taken Chad a while to learn the ins and outs of it. With these new machines, now half of the basement is filled with apparel items, we are even using the boys’ ping pong table for storage, and for all the boxes coming from UPS. I like to lie under it from time to time.
Chad also built his first online store for the Palmyra High School Girls’ Lacrosse team. Who would’ve guessed? I’ve caught him just sitting there, staring at the screen, watching the orders roll in like it’s the Super Bowl. Next up, we’re talking with the Youth Football league about possibly setting up a store or even printing on-site at games, which sounds loud and exhausting if you ask me. Cougar Bowl Apparel even donated a case of lacrosse balls to keep those girls playing hard.
Meanwhile, the humans are packing for a vacation to Virginia next month, and I’ll be holding down the fort at Grandma’s. Chad says he’s got big plans to build more stores this summer. I’m just hoping someone leaves a sandwich within paw’s reach.
Catch you next time! I’ll be under the ping pong table, guarding the box of bucket hats like it’s my job. (Because apparently, it is.)
